Why must true love follow such archaic rules?

Now you have 5 whole days to muddle about, considering the twists and turns of true love. There are quite a number of other people to whom you could give gifts during that exceedingly long time, while you're restriected to barely speaking but a sentence or so with Leah.

It's almost as if the game is giving you time to expand the scope of your experience in the game. Oh, not just to clearcutting Cindersap Forest, though the game practically fells that Wood and places it in your inventory by making available Spring Onions in that same area to keep your chopping energy levels up.

Or shoving a Fishing Rod into your hands if you happen to actually explore the notably not-gigantic map on or after the whole second day of your experience. After it sends you a note in the mail, just in case you're not the exploratory type. And makes a cheap Training Rod available to ease you in. And just tosses the Ocean at you right after the cutscene, without even needing waste more of your day walking down there yourself! It's a wonder you're not able to fall in, the Ocean is thrown at you so forcefully.

And by the way those Fish are great for Energy while finishing your Cindersap Meadow habitat project. If only you could Fish nearby.........

But no, the real point is there's someone in your screencap whose style and hue quite stand out from the crowd. Not in this town necessarily, but certainly in the location you've chosen here to toss Spiceberries at one of the town's passel of redheads. You have ample gifting time for her as well as other Spring-hue coiffed locals who also just love receiving Foraged treats. Like that guy warming his skinny legs by the fireplace. There's other redhead options, too. Also some brown and yellow selections who are quite fond of gifts if Autumn tones are your preference.

Sorry no greenheads though, that one's mine.
