Why is it so so so so so so so so so Hard to get to the Summit

Has anyone gotten to the summit yet?
And how do you get there?

I've got to the summit multiple times. The farm maps I've done it for are: Meadowlands, Hilltop, Beach, Riverland, and Forest. Currently working on Wilderness.

If you reach Perfection, the boulder blocking the road to the summit will vanish, but you need to find the perfection tracker and interact with that first. Max out all skills, beat all the monster hunter goals, cook all dishes, craft all items, and that's just a few of the criteria. Eventually you'll find a perfection tracker that you can check to see how you're doing.

I bought the game late in July last year, so about half a year. Admittedly, I did encounter the wiki before that, and reading through just about all of it I realized it was a game I wanted to get. To me, reading something doesn't spoil the experience of encountering it in the game.

I spent until September trying out various stuff, often starting over when I realized doing stuff in a different way would be better, getting further each time. Kept doing this despite knowing that most decisions can be remade. I've kept the files where I've reached perfection, but the early "training wheels" saves were deleted about as soon as I realized I wouldn't return to them.

Because it's meant to be perfection, aka doing basically everything in the game. I usually get there really late because there's lots of grinding for money and cooking.

Tbf some games have easy final goals. OOT has a ridiculously easy final boss.
