Why can't I put my coop here? I'm on Switch 1.5

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, so apologies if it isn't. I was wondering if I can put my coop here.
Edit: Just wanted to clarify that I'm on the beach farm.

That's the beach map? I've noticed that the "edge of the grass" tiles are treated differently from grass or sand.

Yes it is. My bad for not including it. It seems that I can put the coop on the "edge" tiles.
