So I asked her to find me another monitor, mine died. Just get something 24' screen, she checked internet and said she will get a 27' instead, 600AUD. I said yes please.
She pick me up from work, giggling: Sorry, I didn't get you a monitor. She knows I go crazy without my computer. She teased me all the way home, but I know she was lying,
she can't hold the truth from me when I look into her eyes, she starts to grin or giggle. I knew she got me a new monitor.
Coming to the gas station, she turned away from me and saw her shoulders shaking, she was laughing in her mouth.
Here comes the story of the most ungrateful bastard in the world.
So we get home, she was standing next to my desc, smiling. I looked at the desc and see: Is that a widescreen?
She said yes and explained she couldn't get the 27', it was sold out. Do you like it?
I said: I don't know. (It's smaller vertically than the 24" 3'4 normal screens, but wider) But it's nice.
She didn't like the look on my face. So you don't like it?
I don't know, I have to get used to it.
She looked really sad and I said I do like it, but I have to understand it first.
I don't believe you, you don't like it! and stomps off. I tried to tell her I liked it, but she didn't believe me.
She even posted on facebook: I gave my husband a new widescreen monitor today, and he didn't like it...
So I tried it out, it's so different from 4:3 screens and I knew I have to adjust. I did see different things in movies and tried some games, they where widescreen!
So today I figured out that SD has widescreen, and man! Slightly smaller screen before much wider. I love it.
She didn't buy the 300 dollar screen for me, I was thinking the 600. But no, she spent 950 on this one.
I ruined her day, I'm guilty.
I'm the most ungrateful bastard in the world.
And I bought her the prettiest flowers I could find and surprised her that. We are friends again, haha.
