When will mobile be added?

I recently picked the game up and was excited to play with my brother, until we found out it's not possible on mobile. I'm personally wondering if it is being worked on.

They mean multiplayer which is most likely not going to be released due to the devices themselves.

If it was it I don’t think it would be announced until finished because of the insanely unjustified backlash during the 1.5 port to the game

I wish multiplayer was added to mobile...... Anyway the way Variety phrased it was weird so I got confused
