What is Cassava?Fried Cassava, with fried pork belly and tomato sauce
Its kinda a local dish, but it highly depends of the ingredients quality, can go from standard to outstanding.

Its a tree root, pretty common in latin america (we call it "Yuca"), it shares some similarities with potatoes, the flavor its very distinctive though. What is Cassava?

It might not look that delicious, but you peel it off, boil it for around an hour and then you fried it and season it and taste really good, its not that complex or expensive either, but quality goes all the way around from poor to exquisite, it holds on good ingredients.

You get a dish similar to this, but is even better with a good tomatoe sauce. (Picture isn't mine)![]()
It sounded interesting, since I like cooking and trying to do other dishes every now and then. You wont regret it, its really good, although i think i exaggerated saying you need to boil it for an hour, i eat it more than what i cook itThank youIt sounded interesting, since I like cooking and trying dome other dishes every now and then.
