You have to collect 9 eggs to beat Abby. I've done a few times, so I know that it works.

That one isn’t, it’s completely useless and serves but nothing but an aesthetic addition to the game.

Perhaps it did once have a use or one was planned for it but as the game is now, the joja mart woofers box does nothing.

secret statues. put a super cucumber in the box above Clint's shop, duck mayo in the saloon box in the room with the barrels, strange bun in Vincent's toy box in his room.

Easter eggs. Read the blue Lost Books you collect for the library. I think there are 3 or 4 boxes through town. Another in the storage room at the saloon and one is Vincent’s room, and maybe one other in the mini forest behind Clint’s office. It will eventually be explained by one of the books you find place rare objects in and get even rarer objects out. Have fun and happy hunting! Btw those Lost Books are really cool. They have lore about the game, tips for farming and foraging and catching fish, and hidden secrets throughout the valley. Also the first or second winter I forgot you will find a special creature by the bus in the morning and you will start receiving secret notes in artifact spots, the mines, fishing and chopping trees. They also have lore and Easter eggs to discover!

That box isn't even there anymore. That whole area is changed in 1.6. But yeah, read the lost books, they are educational.
