Watched the Wonka movie today and am extremely disappointed, despite the good cast... Why do they have to ruin a beautiful story by singing? Are we at Disney now?

I hate those movies where 10% of the time is wasted with songs. One or two montages are fine, but when a large portion of the time is spent by people singing, it drives me crazy...
