It is worth noting that unfortunately modding on Android is waiting on the Android version of SMAPI to be updated for 1.5, after that, modding will be possible again. A lot of mods are already updated for 1.5 on PC, but something like that multiplayer mod would likely require an update for 1.5 as well.
