Playing Switch split screen, if I as player 2 go into the volcano, it wont load any monsters and the levels not loading either. It shows the same floor layout as floor 1 on every floor up to floor 5, then it shows a river of water instead of lava which blocks the way. This also prevents you from interacting with the dwarf.
As a workaround, player 1 will need to enter the volcano first and load the level. They also need to go into each floor first to load that floor or you will end up with a duplicated empty floor 1 again.
