Villagers stuck at beach entrance

It's kinda in the name; the villagers keep getting stuck at the entrance to the beach. Sometimes talking to them releases them from their confinement, sometimes it doesn't.

Are you mobile? In mobile people get stuck, walk through walls, “hide from their spouses,” and get stranded on Ginger Island. It often happens due to picking up a mid day save, or just trying to work within different device perimeters, ages and screen sizes.
