villagers disappearing ???

i was looking for elliott on his birthday and he was just gone?? beach/willy’s? nope! forest? nope! library? pierre’s? no!! after waiting almost all day in his cabin i gave up and went to camp in the stardrop saloon since it was friday and still no !! it’s year one and i don’t have ginger island. where the freak is this man !!

I would recommend looking up daily schedules for the villagers, so that you know where they always will be.
If you still can't find him at all, then the game is messed up

yes i looked on the wiki and it said he should’ve been at the stardrop on friday night but he wasn’t

If you can, and if you have the knowledge to, I would look in the game files.
Or, you could use https://smapi.io/log/ and share it with someone who knows what they are doing.

Are you on mobile? Mobile villagers disappear or get caught n the strangest out of bounds places all the time. It’s always been this way but the 1.6.9+ updates have made it way worse. It’s frustrating, yes, but I honestly lighten things up by trying to get a good laugh at the things that do make this extra funny. Like when the villagers get stranded on Ginger Island overnight…love that one! I mean they are gone by 6am when the game restarts but still funny as heck.
