Android Villagers acting weird when saving and reloading from backup

Issue:
I have a habit of using the save from backup feature if I'm unsure about things or if I want to try to get the best resource. Whenever I use this and load the game, the villagers tend to behave wonky, either not moving at all, going through walls, walking on water, or being in the wrong spot.

I'm not sure if this is because loading from backup resets their actions when they are moving or something else, but it seems to affect villagers who have the save loaded or saved when they are moving.

It doesn't seem to be game-breaking, but it is super annoying when I want to sell something or buy something and the villager isn't in the right spot to do it.

I can't find the save file on my device, even when going through the mobile (Android) to try to find the folders, as my /Android/data folder is empty, and I've checked for hidden stuff.

I’ve noticed this problem too ans came here to post it. I admit I’ve never played on the computer and love the backup option on mobile. But wasn’t able to buy from Pierre after one restore from backup and another time right after the Nov 8 update I saw Pam and Leah out of place up by the community center fast walking and couldn’t find Demetrius to finish a quest. Both times I had to play the day over. So this is one thing I hope is fixed in the future on mobile.
I’ll check for another update later as I may be behind. I see I’m almost on the same version. Not sure if build makes a difference. It’s v1.6.13 build 24313. On android
