Use the cabinets inside the kitchen as inventory space

Rather than having to use more chests or multiple fridges, being able to use the cabinets as an inventory space connected to the cooking stove would also be useful, and then paying Robin to upgrade the cabinet space. Currently it looks like there are 9 available cabinets in the kitchen, which would allot a decent amount of available item storage. A cabinet door opening with the same sound as the chests would help the player identify which storage they are selecting. Don't get me wrong, I love the fridges, I'm just wondering if the cabinets could be a similar option that take up less space.

I was just thinking about this a few minutes ago, after upgrading my house I saw more room in the kitchen so I was like, maybe we can use these cabinets now. I was disappointed that you couldn't use them, and thought exactly what you were thinking. Great suggestion!

I admit I was a little disappointed too in my first ever play through a couple of years ago. I am definitely grateful for the fridges on the other hand! lol

I think I'm happy with just the cabinets being made into storage space, myself :)
