1.6 Update Update to 1.6

Hello Everyone, can someone help me how to update my stardew valley game on switch
Both physical copy but unable to update it and im stuck at 1.5.4.2
Appreciate all the help in advance

Not familiar with the switch, how does one usually update physical copies, just go to the game store with it inserted and update from there? Or is it something that's usually on the game icon itself when you go to play it?

I downloaded mine from the eshop. It tells me when an update is available, but I can also check for an update manually by selecting the game, then options (+ button), then Software Update (using the Via the Internet option). Do you have wifi enabled on your Switch? I also see an option to Match Version with Local Users, which I am guessing would let you communicate with another person's Switch that already has downloaded and installed the update.

Generally there will be a popup when you open the game(as long as you are connected to internet) if there is not follow MogBeoulve's advice.

thankyou so much for the answers, already done that and still the same, not much known on match on local users because im the only one in our neighbor that has switch.

Well, i guess ill just stick to it and just play, its still enjoyble, will just wait for it to be fixed automatically.

I have iPad and its update is 1.6.9. I guess you just wait for it. Console should appear before mobile.

lol my iPhone is 1.6.14. So even among devices it’s slightly different. I hate playing on the phone screen so hopefully the difference will come soon. If not like you said there’s enough to enjoy and have great fun with anyways.
