unimplemented bus cutscene/gameplay

Maybe 3 years ago I found unimplemented gameplay in the starting events of Stardew valley, you were inside of the bus and could walk around and talk to people, I believe after you talk to the bus driver a early version of Morris named 'Dobson', would walk out of what looks like a bathroom, I became very interested in the cutscene for a good few weeks, I later lost my interest and forgot where it was on the wiki and partly forgot it existed, maybe a year later I found it again and I got interested in it again for a week, then decided I learnt everything about it and it would probably never get added, today I wanted to read about it again, but it would seem it is not on the wiki anymore or not on the same page (https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Bus_Stop), I then searched around to see if i could find a discussion on this, I now realize there isnt any discussion (i can find) about this, I find this weird as its kinda interesting

anyone seen/heard this?

other trivia about it:
  • an early sprite for Haley is riding the bus,
  • a tourist who appears in almost all the events is also present (including their child)
  • a kennel is resting near an elderly lady, it resembles the unused pet license/kennel (cant remember) sprite
  • to me it looks like the person at the very left's legs are misaligned to his torso making it look like they are broken..

I have heard of it somewhere, though I don't remember where, but it would be really cool if it was added as a part of the intro cutscene

I think... If I remember right... It was cut due to how it set up the game. I thought it introduced a Joja Mart antagonist sort of character, someone who wasn't Morris. I think it was cut in favor of something more low-key and down-to-earth for the game. Dobson was the character.

Local Legend
There's some old posts and youtube videos about it, it's pretty well known, just not all that exciting as it's not anything super new.

Confused is right that it originally stemmed from an alternate goal/gameplay loop of stardew that was abandoned, where you'd basically be competing against an antagonist in the valley. Definitely would be a cool time but idk how much it suits stardew or really any of CAs game philosophy, so we probably won't see it.
