I wanted to try the new map that has been added: the beach map.
I am playing the latest official version of the game as of 17/10/2021, with no mods of any kind, on Steam.
So, I started a new game.
I have noticed the following over the span of 7 in game days.
On the first day I was able to place fences around the land that can be farmed, not the sand but the small farmable land rectangle. I have attached a print screen of it. Please keep in mind that the fence that you see has been placed on this first day.
Starting from the second day I am unable to place any wooden fences or doors on the fences. I click and they just stay in my inventory.
I have tried placing these anywhere else on the map as well with no success.
Update 1: At closer inspection it appears that I am unable to place anything, not only fence but anything that is in my inventory. Example: cherry bombs and fences so far.
Update 2: I can't even put copper ore into the furnace to make bars. I don't understand why.
To confirm that this issue is with this map I have loaded an older save with a very advanced farm and everything has checked out as working as it should.
