I love the events! But the pauses during the events are too long!! Like the event when Marnie asks if you want to adopt a cat, or when George has trouble getting something down from the bookcase, basically most events... there is just so much WAITING.
Suggestion: reduce the waiting while nothing is happening by 75%. A little waiting would be OK. Might give a nice slow-paced cozy feel. But most of the events currently give me a feeling of "This is painfully slow." I'm sure anyone with a ToDoList they want to get done before the day expires can relate. Rush, rush, rush, rush, trigger the event, and suddenly WWWWWWAAAAAAAIIIIIITTTT WWWWWAAAAAIIIIIITTTTT WWWWAAAAIIIIITTTT. Totally breaks my rhythm, at least for me. I mean, the pauses are only like 3ish seconds long, but somehow, it feels WAYYY too long in the moment.
