Question Trying to install mods, where do I put them?

Installed SMAPI, trying to find out where to put the mods I download. Terminal says /Users/[my name]/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Stardew Valley/Contents/MacOS/Mods, but I can't find where that is.

Are you running it via steam? If you are, I say that what you should do is just right click on your SDV in steam and click on browse local files. I will get some research done and get back to you if you aren't using steam. If you still need assistance, please help by informing me if you use steam to run SDV or not. Thanks.

Oh, I forgot. Once you get to local files look in the folder in that called mods. If you cant find it directly (I'm on windows so I can't be entirely sure about mac,) look though all folders in your Stardew files.

I am having issues finding the Mods folder. I am on a windows laptop and I've looked in all the files and still not seeing it.

If you don't have a Mods folder by default, you can make one manually without issue. SMAPI is very robust in terms of navigating folders; you can even sort your mods into further subfolders if you wish, which has caused me problems on other games.
