Windows Tool glitch AKA milk pail fishing

Has anyone else had the selected tool do the wrong animation complete with sound effects? I was taking care of my cows for about the 8th time this game session, and when I equipped the milk pail, it started casting a bobber.. so I figured let's go fishing.. caught a soggy newspaper and a broken cd. All fish got away as I haven't done any fishing in this save.

Update... started a new day, now everything is a fishing rod... fruit to place in preserves jar, fishing rod animation. Putting jam in sales bin, fishing animation. Placing hay, nope, you're fishing.
