iOS version 1.6.15.0, non-Arcade, on iPad 12.9" running iPadOS 18.5.
When I use the joystick + button controls and toggle with the default tap-to-move controls, sometimes the joystick circle and both button circles are placed with their centers in the top left corner instead of where I set them using the "adjust joypad controls" settings. They remain the same size as I'd set them (larger than default for all three) and can be used (as long as I only want to walk down and/or left). When I open the "adjust joypad controls" settings, they immediately reappear in the positions where I set them (default for joystick, along a diagonal for buttons) and remain there when I close the settings (even if I don't reset anything in that settings screen, just open and then close it).
I'm sorry I don't have a better way to reproduce this than "sometimes"! I haven't found a clear pattern in it.
