1.6 Update to the helping developers & ConcernedApe himself- thank you

I will not stand for CA slander. :heartrip:

CA has truly gone beyond means to create 1.6. not only that but in the short 8 months allowing mobile/console players like myself, also to enjoy it. AND creating a secret to us mobile players to have experimental multiplayer (worked wonderfully btw!) I never would have expected that one for sure.. as if I couldn't love him more. :junicheer:

I wish to express my gratitude to ALL the hardworking developers working along the big man himself to help bring his vision to life and for us to enjoy the game. I am so angry at those who I would see on twitter being rude to CA for not having 1.6 out for mobile/console all throughout waiting for 1.6. I am no developer, but just from learning how to change my game save file name was hard enough- let alone creating the game; art style, dialogue, hell even the music he created. you don't have to know coding to know how difficult it is to create/update a game. a real supporter knows to be paitent and have compassion because he works so hard and sacrificed so much for all of us to enjoy.

CA and the devs working with him deserves all the love and support right now. others who know very little about SDV, the creator and backstory need to a reality check. same with the some modders who are being insanely rude as well to him. some like myself, can't even use mods.

to the devs helping out 24/7 with bug fixes, etc. thank you. your hard work has not gone unnoticed and I sincerely thank you for taking the time to fix our beloved game. thank you for your efforts and consistency and hard work with replies, updates etc.

to CA himself.. hugs. without you, Stardew Valley would not exist. I see your efforts, hard work and passion you pour into your game. it is truly made with so much love that it can be felt by millions of players, including myself. if anything, all of us on here have your back. thank you for everything you have ever sacrificed. it will never go unnoticed. hard work pays off!!

I can't wait to continue to support him on his next journey in Haunted Chocolatier. at least I know everyone on here will ride at dawn if anyone else says anything that is not supportive!!
please be kind. please be patient with them. show your love and support. :stardrop::stardrop::stardrop:

If I could give you 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 likes, I would. Because no matter how good or bad a game is reviewed by Metacritic, Rotten Tomato, the Steam forums or without point number systems, the devs put hard work in it. And if the update or bugfix takes longer, you should be patient. I feel in latest time like being patient would be some forbidden ancient magic but I do not think so.

Me neither! <3

Although i am salty due to him, nerfing a number of things, with each new update (including but not limited to: rainbow shard drop chance, legendary fish pond production etc)... I can accept the fact that it is his game and it is a wonderful one, at that! Rich, complex and treated with care, on top of it all.

Ape is a great dev. Others should take notes.

P.S. I am particularly amazed at the audacity of some players, attacking him for not dumping Stardew in favor of progressing faster on Haunted Chocolate... The nerve, some ungrateful ingrates have!

"Perfect is the enemy of good."

I haven't seen many of the complaints but as there have been a lot of bug submissions here I can imagine what some of the saltier people could be saying. IMO some vocal people are looking for perfection or near enough and the game's been relatively trouble-free for a few years after the v1.5 round of updates and fixes, so this big release with inevitable bugs may have upset their experience more than anticipated.

You can't make everyone happy and facelessly complaining online is easy, so many people are doing it when they would be more tempered and exercise appropriate tolerance in a similar in-person situation. Human behavior will ever be this way.

I'll add my little voice to thank ConcernedApe and the other Developers whose names in red often appear here in the Bug Submission threads, looking for what needs to be fixed. It can't be easy to satisfy millions of people ( >30M copies sold!) all at once and of course it's impossible. I wish I could give more than just emotional support but as that's what I have, that's what I give freely and wholeheartedly.

A big thank you to tranquiltiller for posting this. Hey devs and fans, let's all have some cake!

something about me is that I never let people go feeling unloved or especially under appreciated. and that goes for everyone!! :proud:

I totally agree with realistic aspect of this all. this is ALOT of pressure for CA; as he cannot please everyone with that being said, I do my part by letting CA and the other devs know how thankful for them working so hard and to keep going!!
it is his persistence into trying which is enough for me to really take a step back to also remind myself and others he is human being, too. I hope he can take a nice long vacation one day for himself, I would be so so happy for him.

thank you lew zealand! always a pleasure seeing you on here :junicheer::heart:

I agree!! it's the fact you can see the hard work they put in and do. always updating us when they can, and also i LOVE that CA actually listens to what us as players have to say as far as updating the game. it makes us feel included in something so close to him, he does care about us. with each update you see new little changes and it's always in the smallest things too. for that alone he is an amazing dev, very rare to see a humble dev these days
