TMXL ISSUE

im not sure if anyone would know a solution but my tmxl doesn't open, my F1 key makes my laptop go to sleep and if i configure it to set a different F# it doesn't work . . . i tried the letter z and it didn't open and i tried setting it to the period key but alas nothing works, does anyone know how to fix this? or what i can do?

I had this issue happen when I was playing multiplayer too! TMXL worked okay everywhere but not inside cabins. Try pressing F2? Thats the default key for TMXL I think.
