Things vanish,

My furnace has vanished from my farm, how can I find it please, I have made 1 copper bar and thats still in my inventory, I had the same problem with a storage chest so I restarted the game but I don't want to keep restarting

Did debris (a rock, stick or plant) appear in the same spot? Debris will spread and destroy things so always make sure to keep the area around your equipment clear.

Did you maybe dislodge it with a tool but didn't pick it up? Dislodged things may disappear over night.

You can make more furnaces and chests, so don't worry about losing that one.

It was in a clear space next to the house , I also had a storage box vanish so I restarted the game. Then this happened I am just worried cos I don't want to keep rebuilding stuff every few days

May I recommend keeping that stuff indoors?

Try to do this: First go to Robin and order her to build a cabin . It's very cheap . Second , throw out all the furniture (well , except thе parsnips pack that's glued to the floor ) and you'll have a good mini-shed for everything . Put yours furnaces , preserve jars , kegs etc incide and they're will be safe .

Oddly enough, the same thing happened to me when I first started my beach farm. Items to the side of the house just seemed to vanish. I moved everything to a shed. I never lost anything in front of the house though, or several tiles away. Definitely strange.
