Editing it is convoluted, and I see no way to contact anyone that knows what they are doing to point out this. So here I am in maybe a semi correct place?

Pages like https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Pumpkin show a sprout icon after replanting in the growth calendar.

For new people this is a confusing time-waster trying to figure out how to pick these plants without re-seeding as it implies you can do this. The icon after the harvest should be a seed. They use a seed for the initial planting and dont again after. This is all over the wiki for plants that need to be re-seeded. Trying to edit this is met with a blank as hell edit page.

The icon shows what the planted crop looks like that day and having the fully grown Pumpkin visible as currently seen in the Wiki makes sense as it becomes harvestable on that day. And reharvestable crops are noted in the Stages section, which comes before the Crop Growth Calendar section. While it's not completely clear that you need to replant the same day you harvest, looking at the pattern of growth in the crop growth calendar should make that evident.

A good improvement could be having an animated icon that flashes between the harvestable fruit and the seed once a second on all but the last day of harvesting. And yeah I guess that flashing icon should also be there on the last day as you can still plant that day, though it would be crazy to do so. I was crazy once...

I agree with Lew, it's not a complaint I've really ever heard so I think it's pretty clear(?), but something like a flashing icon or just both seed and crop sprites next to eachother could clear stuff up, it's just a bit annoying to set that up, especially since the admin is super strict about those pages on the wiki
