You receive the Stardrop only after catching every fish in the game. For many people, their last fish is a Legendary because they're so difficult but you may have another fish you still need to catch? Tap your Collections tab and see if there are any fish which are still marked in gray.

For me (1.5) the last fish is usually the stingray, because one has to open the Ginger Island resort to get it

Idk what it is but mine is ALWAYS the dorado, I just never fish in the summer river and obviously it's such a mid range kind of fish I don't try to get it in general. I think all 3-4 times I've gotten perfection it's been last and it's been last on pre 1.5 files where I bothered filling out the fishing tab on too

oh yea just yesterday I got all the fish, and the ONLY reason I got the dorado was cuz I was fishing in the lake at my house with magic bait, and somehow got it. then I realized I only had to get an ice pip, slime jack, and scorpion carp so I got those too
