i recently got access to the dwarf and spoke to them but I only have 1 scroll and I need 4 how do I get the other 3?

Monster drops and Tilling soil in the Mines and often the best ways to get them. But beware:

You will only find 3 of them. This is a rule steeped in the legends of yore and ye olde traditions must be observed and respected at all costs. Plus these rules exist only to annoy and they are very successful at doing so. Enjoy your first 3, you'll get them pretty quickly. Also enjoy getting your first 3 again and again! I'm sure you'll enjoy those totally as much the 4th time around as the first while the last scroll eludes you.

1 and 2 are easiest found before floor 40 of the mines. 3rd from frost slimes, either at the frozen levels of the mines or in the Secret Woods in Fall and Winter. 4th, the gold-bound one, has a really low chance of dropping from just about any monster, hence why it can prove elusive.

I was a bit mistaken in 1 and 2. 1 is easiest found from the bug-type opponents of the first part of the mine, with the same chance as getting an ancient seed from them. Tilling there can give you that, but at a lower chance. 2nd can be found from various monsters in the frozen levels.
