when you chose Fruit bats you can switch it to another one then to that mushroom thing

many in the game choose that Mushrhooms
so what else does it take The Cave to put that is useful for money or something else for example five Worm Bin and Crystalarium or something else tell me what would be good about you or did you put anything there

I don’t fully know what you’re asking here given the way your post is written, but I’ll try to help as best I can.

Bats: The bat cave produces certain foragable fruits from Spring, Summer, and Fall, and also fruit from fruit trees that can be used in the artisan bundle for the community center, and towards a couple of Bulletin Board bundles. Likewise, the fruit can also be used as a food source, or given away as gifts. And the fruit is affected by certain professions that makes them iridium quality, as well as gives you a chance at getting 2 of that fruit when you pick it up.

Mushrooms: The mushroom cave has 6 boxes that produce 6 random mushrooms per day. Most of the time, you get common mushrooms that are useful as a food source, but the cave can also generate chanterelles, morels, and red and purple mushrooms that are used in crafting life elixirs. Unlike the bat cave, though, the mushrooms you get aren’t affected by the certain professions that fruits in the fruit cave are. Finally, you can use the mushrooms in the Exotic Forage bundle of the community center, and to help complete a couple of Bulletin Board bundles.

As for other uses, I wouldn’t know, I tend to stop visiting the cave as soon as I have plenty of food and complete the community center bundles that whatever cave I’ve chosen helps complete. If you want to try to do something else with it, pick fruit bats so you don’t have 6 mushroom boxes taking up space in there, unless you really want mushrooms and are willing to work around them.

Lastly, I don’t know if any in-game way of switching cave types once you’ve made your decision. Hope that helps.

I base my fruit bat or mushroom cave decision on what bundles I need for the community center. Usually it ends up being fruit bats.

Once I no longer need the fruit, I use the cave for other purposes. I turn it into a workshop with forges, a workbench and chests full of crafting materials. Some people create really beautifully decorated caves. I tend to be more practical, especially on smaller farm maps like the forest or riverland farms.

A farmer or two may have turned the cave into magical altars. For what purpose? I’m not at liberty to say.:skull:

I tend to choose bats because the fruit makes good gifts and once you get botanist, they are always iridium quality. I've seen people raise slimes in the cave because they can't escape.

IIRC what you choose is permanent. If you go bats you stick with them for the whole game, Mushrooms the same. This has been a thing since its conception I believe, you could never ever change your Farm Cave.

For me, I always play Forest Farm, so I can technically do Bats to get my fruit for Bundles without trees and still get my shrooms in the Fall. Plus I love bats, so that bit of bias influences it a little.

Yes, once chosen you cannot change your cave type anymore in game. You could technically edit your save file if it really bothers you a lot, but the type of cave doesn't have a big impact on the game.

If you purely use the cave as an additional warehouse for putting stuff in it, then of course the bat cave is advisable, since the mushroom cave has 6 less spaces you can play with.

Otherwise it's really a matter of preference. Personally I would say mushrooms are more consistent and fruit bats can have the bigger Impact on the bundles IF you get lucky.

Plus a certain endgame place will always have an additional mushroom cave, as far as I understood. So I usually go bats anyway.

I pick mushrooms every time for easy energy in the early game. The cave doesn't benefit me late game much, so I only care about its early game potential.

Fruit bats have their benefits, but I prefer the consistency of the mushrooms.

You can't switch unfortunately, so it's best to pick based on your play style and whether you'd prefer easy early game energy or an easier time completing community center bundles.
