The beneficence of this game

Over and above SDV’s wholesomeness, and it could just be my imagination, I could swear sometimes I get a last completion item when I need it. Things like needing Dust Sprites to complete the Monster Eradication goal and finding loads of them on levels 40+ where previously there were only a few. Or that last Community Center item is available at the Traveling Cart the next day. Or a last Museum piece, like the Skeletal Hand, and finding it the next day.

Based on CA’s goodness and generosity, I wouldn’t put it past him to have coded in last needed item detection to make it available. I know that might sound a little out there, and again, maybe it’s my imagination or maybe it’s the day’s luck level. But every time it happens, I marvel at the kindheartedness built into this game and find myself saying aloud "whew, got it, yay, thank you."

I feel like BlaDe's community center/missing bundle speedrun might argue against that, unless it was coded in the 1.5 update (that is, after he spent hours upon hours looking for red cabbage seeds).

On the other hand, I do agree that the game does seem weirdly generous. If I just keep playing, everything falls into place sooner or later. I never stress anymore about how I can't seem to get this or that. It always shows up after I stop worrying about it.

Probably just your imagination and some confirmation bias (you notice when you happen to get the thing immediately, but not when you don't). As far as I know, there is no such mechanism in the code. (Also, btw, none of the things you mentioned are dependent on daily luck).
But yeah, always fun when that kind of thing happens!

Actually, I don't have a problem with being unlucky, but of course it would be happier if I could overcome that feeling of loneliness. Not everyone gets what they want at the time they expect. _(-_-メ)
