Question System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

Hello!! I'm trying to create a custom event for Shane, but I keep running into a problem. I have the event set up so that there are two times when it branches from question fork, and the first branch works well enough, however, at the second branch, the error named above shows up. It terminates the event early. I have no idea how to fix this, although I've spent half a day looking at code... I'm at my wit's end, I really hope I can get a hint or some insight on how to fix it! Below is my current version of the game, if it helps:
