[Switch] How to do split-screen with 1 controller and 1 set of joy cons

I’m having problems doing split-screen co-op. Please send any solutions that are viable

The wiki has steps on getting a split-screen game started, the main thing is to make sure you have a cabin on your farm. If you haven't built one yet, you can visit Robin at the Carpenter's Shop to build one.

I’ve followed the steps on the wiki and it still doesn’t work. Could it be because of the controller that I use??

It could be related to the controller. On Switch, make sure the controller is charged and connected to the Switch before starting the split-screen game.
