Switch Switch 2 Local Co Op not working

Hey guys,

Me and my partner are trying to play stardew locally with 2 switches. (Switch 1, and switch 2.) But every time I try to load up local Co op. It freezes, and I cant select host or join. Im just stuck infinitely loading, or with the brown board thing that has host/join tab. But the tabs aren't there.

I'm on latest switch 2 version.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I just had the same issue. In my farm and selected local co-op (I am on sw2 version) and my son chose local on his copy (sw1) and it wouldn't work. Game wouldn't show up. Had to use game share.

Have always had this issue with local play. Literally can not do it as with myself being the host, misses and kids can not even find the game to join. Always have to do online. And it crashes / disconnects about halfway through each and every day. Co-op is currently Unplayable on Switch. Even if no one else has loaded in yet!

Most crashes happen with 2 or more in game. Often when 1 is putting items from inventory into chests, and the othet is harvesting / foraging
