Swaping host in MAC

Hello everyone and thanks for your attention, I would like to know if there is any way to change the host main character on a local saved game, playing on a MAC computer with the latest update.

I already transferred the saved files to my computer, but I'm playing as the host, which is not a bad idea, but I would like to develop the other player's skills and not get behind.

There is anything I can do to change the main host character to another one??

Although there may be a way to do this via editing the save file, I am not familiar with it. Maybe other people here know how this can be done though!
