Issue SVE installed incorrectly

I just got the game for pc I'm normally a switch player but I finally decided to play with mods. Smapi is installed but when I try adding mods to the mod folder I'm getting so many errors when I open the game even though I'm pretty sure I installed them correctly. I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong. All tutorial are months or years old so I'm troubleshooting where I have to when steps don't add up and maybe that's where i'm going wrong but seriously idk how to get this to work. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Downgrade your Content Patcher to a stable version (like 2.3.0). Avoid using the beta/alpha version unless you're actively modding or testing.

Even when I was using that version it still popped up telling me to upgrade it and that I was missing files

I have no idea what I just did differently but after downloading it again I got no errors. I struggled so much yesterday but thank you!
