SVE Grandpa's Farm not loading

I'm on a Macbook Pro, running SV on Steam with tons of mods, including Stardew Valley Extended (SVE). They're all working except Grandpa's Farm. I get this message on the log (What is manifest.json?):

[SMAPI] Skipped mods
[SMAPI] --------------------------------------------------
[SMAPI] These mods could not be added to your game.
[SMAPI] - [SVE] Grandpa's Farm because it contains files, but none of them are manifest.json.

The manifest.json is like an ID card for the mod. It says to SMAPI, "Hey, I'm mod X, and I need these mods to properly work."
With no manifest.json file; SMAPI just ignores it.

Fix:
Delete the "[SVE] Grandpa's Farm" mod, and its sub-folders/files. Then reinstall it: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/3753?tab=files&file_id=52989
