SVE Fish Farm Remix Bundle help

Hi all! I am playing Stardew Expanded and decided to do the remix bundles for this run. I got the Fish Farm bundle- It requires 2 of the 3 options: 15 roe, 15 aged roe, or Squid ink.
My problem is- I can't get straight up roe from my farms. Any fish I put in there gives me "Largemouth bass roe" or "Bream roe". Has anyone else run in to this issue? And is there a work around? Should I try getting 15 of a fish's roe that in base game would normally just be roe? Any insight would be helpful!

For “roe”, you can use any (it can even be a combination of different ones, you just need to have all 15 in your inventory at the same time). For “aged roe”, you can age any roe except sturgeon roe.
