Suggestion: some older bachelors/bachelorettes

I love this game and some of the bachelors/bachelorettes, but since I am probably older than most of the characters (I think), I would love the option to marry someone even older than Harvey (no offense hehe).
I really like Gus, although he talks a lot about food and recipes, and I think it would be fun to marry Pam too.

This would be a great addition, though I am not sure if it would be too difficult to program, especially since Gus works at the pub every day and Pam drives the bus after it’s repaired.

Clint and Marnie are also possibilities, though they would not be my favourites to marry. Still, I would love to see the mayor’s reaction if Marnie were to marry someone else.

Haha great thought! Maybe - at some point - there could be a divorce „event“ for one of the non-dateable characters and then you can marry them. But hey, never wish something to someone else what you don’t want experience yourself.
Maybe there is a mod which change out some sprites and personal data from the bachelor(s)/ettes to fit your needs :-)

A divorce for the characters who are married would be not so nice. That is the reason why I suggested Gus and Pam because they are not married and often alone and they are older. I would wish Marnie find another love than Lewis and Clint is too shy so they would also be good bachelors/bachelorettes.

For sure I think in Ridgeside Village there are some mature dating partners. Definitely worth trying out!
With Marnie and Lewis, the opposites attract metaphor works really well. And Clint is unfortunately too busy fixing tools. I don't want to know how long it would take Clint to improve my hoe if he was in a relationship. But I can understand your thoughts. Often times, you want what you can't have haha
