Strategies for fitting everything in the box?

Hello!

I just received a new copy of the board game with the extra insert, but I’m struggling to find a place for the artifact and fish tile pouches without causing the cover to bulge upward on the side. I had it down to a science with my friend’s original copy but the inserts + board seem to take up all the height now.

Does anyone have any strategies/advice for fitting it all in?

I found an organizing set on Etsy. I purchased this before I got my copy and not knowing that the box now comes with the new tray. I’ve had no issues with getting everything to fit and it actually helps with keeping cards and pieces together during gameplay.

I found this too. Today I found if I loosen the end of the pouch so it is wider, the tiles spread out flatter inside the bags and the lid closes fully. I keep the player boards and pouches on top of the folded up game board so there's not far to go if they come out but they seem to stay contained this way just fine.

Just got it a couple of days ago, and after my first game spent some time organising this.
One of the pouches I flatten it out to be no wider than the remaining space in the coins hearts dice compartment, so it sinks in there a little bit. The other pouch, I do the same with one of the big card compartments
I found if you put the season cards together, and grandpa's goal with the other big cards, you can actually fit everything in the box leaving 1 big card compartment empty to fit most of the second pouch + (fish)cards in there.

On top of that I put the player mats to create a semi flat surface for the board, and then the crops tray and manual. No bulging at all when it's completely closed, and everything stays in place :)

I put the big tray with event and goal cards etc in first, then the game board to keep everything in the tray in place, then the 2nd tray and then you are left with a few loose items. The 4 inventories/profession boards, the 2 grab bags and the rules. First the rules, so they stay flat, then I put the professions on one side, i flatten out the bags on the other side and it just works for me.
