1.6 Update Statue of perfection glitch

Is anyone else upset that you can no longer use the statue of perfection glitch with the new updates, I personally miss it a lot. I mainly used it to finish upgrading my tools and to buy the mega bombs at the desert trader. I hope they can bring it back in the future. :(

I don't personally use it but I think glitches and exploits that are entirely player activated (can't be accidentally done without effort and aren't harmful) should stay in as CA used to do with other bugs.

There are absolutely ways just to get iridium legitimately though, and while they may be more difficult they'll be vastly more fulfilling and you'll be a much better player doing it too.

Iridium isn't too difficult to obtain. Skull Cave runs will net you more than enough to upgrade your relevant tools.

Money is easy to come by as well. Heck, a simple one day workweek setup of a greenhouse full of ancient fruit, properly brewed into wine, will net you around a million per season, with more micromanaged strategies pushing closer to two million a season.

Ah I see the name glitch never worked for me but I understand why they'd the glitches I usually mine in the skull cavern for iridium but the glitch just made it faster in the beginning.

Seeing as you can only get it at the start of the third year you can absolutely get the ball rolling on iridium and money well before that. It's simply a matter of reinvesting your money without huge purchases early on and the cash accumulates very quick.

And with cash you can get to and really conquer the desert, just bring a lot of food and some explosives and it's a lot easier than many make it out to be
