Stardrop pic in the name

My 4 y.o. created this character and I'm wondering how he got the Stardrop in his name.

I think if you put an = character in your name it will make a star like that one. Considering the creative use of the alphabet and punctuation there, it seems that an equals sign is a reasonable addition to the mix.

Yeah, when I made my first farm on pc I named it after my brother and I as we were to play together but instead of "+" I got this creepy sunglasses guy which I only noticed the next time I loaded up the save.
It's still like that to this day, I never bothered to change it.
