Windows Stardew valley not launching on steam

Hello, I recently bought stardew valley and have 26 hours on it. Recently, I wanted to sync my data to my laptop in case I’m away from home and want to play some stardew. (Steam cloud is on btw, and my laptop is a windows surface 6) However, I cannot open the game, steam is telling me the .exe file doesn’t exist. Help please!!!

The error code thing is:
An error has occurred while updating Stardew Valley (missing executable) :
C:\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\steamapps\common\stardewvalley\Stardew Valley.exe

Now when I get on my actual PC my save file is gone...

Might sound stupid, have you confirmed if the file path is correct, i.e. are the game files still there / .exe file is in the folder?
