Stardew Valley Bed

Does anyone know how to replace my bed in Stardew Valley? I accidentally threw it away. I can’t power-up without it. Any words of wisdom or guidance would help and be appreciated.

if the day isnt over yet, reset either your day or game. resetting day means going back to title screen and reloading the save (if you didnt know). otherwise i would just make a new save file, although that might be hard for some. ((me))

Eating/drinking or hanging out in the spa also replenish energy. Now I’m curious what happens when you pass out and there’s no bed. Do you wake up with no energy?

I just created a new save, got out of bed, picked up the bed, and trashed it. Contrary to what I had believed, there is nothing preventing you from doing exactly this. Very on brand for a game written in C - if you try to shoot yourself in the foot, you will shoot yourself in the foot.

My farmer passed out at 2 AM inside the house, the game saved, and I woke up with half energy (I got bored while running around, so I used most of the energy bar chopping wood and breaking stone, but did not get exhausted). This is fascinating! I wonder what a playthrough sans original bed would be like.

This sounds awesome! I’m on mobile I’ll try it too on a new save and see.

So I am gearing up to give this a try. I'm low key betting that I won't make it out of the first spring without screaming.

Rules for myself:
* Throw away the bed, and don't buy a replacement. (If upgrading the house does not grant a new bed, consider the challenge completed and allow purchase of a bed after getting that upgrade.)
* 25% profit
* Use the player's LEAST favorite farm type
* Complete the community center, not Joja (can't just buy everything)

Any other thoughts for how I can make this really difficult for myself?

If you went to make it really hard, you could add some rules about when you can leave the farm (maybe once per week?) or limit what you can buy from Pierre, but I think your rules are already hard.
you could also tie the bed to getting materials (wool from sheep/rabbits?) instead of the house upgrade.

For anyone who is curious, upgrading your house does not give you a bed if you do not already have one. But Robin does always sell a regular bed for 500g.

I used Riverland farm, accidentally threw out the crab pots, and finished by summer 10, with unlocked mine carts. Not nearly as difficult as I thought it would be, especially once the spa opened up.
