Stardew Pairings Suggestions please and thank you!

((Edit on June 19th - I have decided to also give polyamory ‘pairings’ a go as well. I know there are polyamory mods already out there, but I don’t know for what ‘pairings’ precisely. Suggested ‘pairings’ for polyamory are also welcomed))

Are there any pairings people would like to see added? Only with vanilla game NPC’s and SVE’s NPC’s though, as I don’t have Ridgeside anymore, so I’m not familiar with all of the characters in it ^^; as well as excluding pairings with the farmer.

I’m trying to figure out other pairings to do for my mod. I was contemplating some little thing going on between Gus and Pam, but not 100% certain?

Also, heterosexual and homosexual pairings suggestions both welcomed. ^^ When it comes to poly pairings (I believe that’s the correct term when there’s three parties involved? Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong) … I could potentially attempt that, but I’m not certain I’ll be able to properly pull it off … heh.

Edit;; I want to mention that with the current mod I’m working on, it’s for a farmer and Sebastian pairing, but I’m not opposed to make future mods that include pairing Sebastian with another NPC. ^^

I don't like Emily and Clint, and definitely not Emily and Shane. However Sandy and Clint makes sense to me. Also Pam and the Trash Bear. Aaaand me and the Henchman. I think Emily and the Bouncer would be great! Sure she's going to the Desert to see "Sandy". Suuuuuure......

I can see the 8 of us on the Bus heading to Zuzu City like in the Muppet Movie, singing "Moving right along now..."

It's clear in the game that Emily and Clint will never be a thing, and then Sandy is so lonely in the Desert and is kind of flirty with the Farmer, so it seemed pretty reasonable that if Clint and Sandy could meet that an interest could be kindled there. It could happen on those rare days when Emily heads to the Desert to meet Sandy, IIRC for Sandy's birthday. Maybe she could drag Clint along, Emily seems blind to Clint's interest in her but could pick up that he has a general interest and could connect that to Sandy's loneliness.

Emily on the other hand could be intrigued by the Bouncer and certainly Emily cuts an attention-drawing figure with her dress and hair, so that could melt the Bouncer's stoic countenance. Yes unfortunately the Bouncer goes poof, but his sprite should still be available. Maybe he could be placed in the Casino afterwards. Maybe he's there already but I just forget!

The Henchman goes less poof but still disappears from the game, but No Matter! I will find him and he will be mine! I've been stockpiling Void Mayo in anticipation of the happy reunion.

You've reminded me that I've been interested in learning modding for this kind of NPC pairing (different pairings though), to create new NPCs, and add dialogue.

Very insightful! Once I get further along in my mod, I will look into doing this (if someone doesn’t beat me to punch lol).

For my current mod I’m working, I can work on implementing Sandy and Clint, but not entirely certain if I can implement Emily and Bouncer into it as easily for Sandy and Clint, but I will look into it! If anything, I could potentially have Emily and Bouncer being a separate mod, and even including Sandy and Clint into that separate mod.

I will also look into something with the Henchman. No guarantees, but since I’m already creating a new NPC for my current mod, I’m sure it’s very doable, since while Henchman is already established as a NPC, I will still have to work on him immensely, and so it’ll be equivalent of what I have to do for a new NPC (same with Bouncer). ^^

Thankies! LC is what inspired me to work on NPC x NPC pairings. I’m going to be contacting LC’s modder/creator to ask if I can make their mod one of the requirements for my mod (not meaning if I can re-upload their mod, but just rather it being one of the requirements, such as how CP will be a requirement for example). I don’t mind starting from scratch for the pairings, but I just absolutely the way they did it, and think it’s perfect. Either way, I still plan on linking to their mod in the description of my mod, encourage others to download it, since I do feel it’s amazing and that it’ll be enjoyed by others.

Also, do eet~ it’s definitely something fun to do. ^^ and I wish you the best vibes on your endeavors for it!

There's also one for Maru & Penny, and Sam & Sebastian, both if which are only available through the Forum now and have been deleted from Nexus. So those might also be good pairings to cover eventually, since no one is going to find those original mods unless they already know that they exist.

And one pairing might be Caroline and the Wizard, if one assumes that Abigail is really his daughter. So this could be the rekindling of an old relationship that may or may not go somewhere, depening on if you want to implement her leaving Pierre :D

Or if you want to go with the theory that Jas is actually the Wizard's daughter, then maybe Marnie and the Wizard, if he wants to finally act as a father figure to his daughter. And if he actually reveals that he is Jas' father, that could also lead to interesting conflicts. Especially considering that he would have had everyone believe that both her parents are dead (through magic, maybe?).

And for something more out there: since there are mods that replace the Mariner with a Mermaid, maybe a Willy x Mermaid mod :D

I can at some point work on a Sam x Sebastian, and Maru x Penny pairing mod (or separate mods).


Caroline and the Wizard I can see, especially after SVE (I believe it was in SVE? Idr, there’s a mod where it puts forth into action that “theory” (*cough* somanyhintsinvanilla *cough*) of Abigail being Caroline’s and the Wizard’s love child). So, I could probably expand on that (although, I’ll have to probably get in touch SVE’s staff to see if I have permission to expand on it, or else it’ll have to be something entirely from scratch, and so might have potential conflicts with SVE?).


I never knew about theory before, around the Wizard being Jas’s biological father. *o* I actually love that theory. That’ll be a fun story mod to do to revolve around that. Probably wouldn’t be really compatible with SVE unfortunately (again … if it is SVE that I’m correctly thinking about and not another mod)… but it’d still be fine as a stand alone, and I could do other NPC character developments in there. Such as Lewis realizing his mistake, and now he’ll never have Marnie. Potentially some confrontation with Shane … or maybe he possible knows the truth, which is actually another contributing factor to his alcohol abuse (on top of the other issues he has)? Could be fun to have it brought to light to the other villagers … and Pierre feels like such an arse for the comments he’s made regarding his daughter. Etc..


I’ve always bypassed that mermaid mod I didn’t know it did that lol. I probably should have actually read the description about it. That’s pretty cool. I’ll have to download that mod at some point, and give it a play through to see how exactly things play out in it. I do like the concept of pairing Willy with a mermaid. I adore that man and want him to be happy darnit! Willy deserves lovings too! I just never knew how to go pairing that man though heh. A mermaid definitely works out ^^ Depending on how things go, I could just make a mermaid NPC for him. Maybe I could even have that being in the same story mod with the Wizard being Jas’s father, to add some more immersion.

I probably should have actually read the description about it. That’s pretty cool. I’ll have to download that mod at some point, and give it a play through to see how exactly things play out in it.

None of those mods have much depth, they really just replace the Mariner and maybe alter the dialogue slightly, so you'd have to make up the mermaid's character anyway. Just seems like a fun idea to implement^^ And if you want to tie that into the Wizard's storyline, why not? The more interactions, the better. And if the Mermaid wants to live on land (or maybe Willy wants to be a Merman xD), the Wizard could certainy help out.

I kind of like the idea of Harvey/Alex. Alex seems like the type of guy to me who would say something cheesy to fluster Harvey, but end up getting flustered himself.

I also think either Maru/Haley or Maru/Leah would be pretty neat

I don't see why we're doing contortions to create Emily and a Bouncer who has literally no dialogue when Emily/Sandy is right there. I mean, I get a friendship not relationship vibe off the few references we get but we also really only see them together at the movie theatre, and it would be really easy to tweak the dialogue, and more so to turn that movie night into their "date night".
