Stardew Mobile beets in Lewis’s fridge quest

It is physically impossible to put the beets in mayor Lewis’s fridge for Qi in the mobile version of stardew. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong!!!

Can you screenshot what you're doing?

Are they all the same quality? Is the quest active? Are you really holding beets and not radishes or rhubarb?

On PC, but same quality shouldn't matter. I had 11-12 of different quality when finally doing that quest in year 3. No need to put them into the fridge, like for those special board quests, just interact with the fridge, and the quest will progress, and you should get a new note. The game will remove 10 beets from your inventory on its own.
