iOS Stardew Freezes/Glitches on iPad Pro

    When I am playing, the game will randomly glitch and doesn’t let me move. I will press using my Apple Pencil, but it will only go in one straight line to the bottom of the screen. Other times it will zoom all the way out and again, will not let me move. I cannot press any of the controls to close out the game.

    v1.6.14.3 build 24321

    I do not get an error message. I normally just close out of the game.

    This has happened when I entered the beach twice and when I entered my farm from the north.

I have this same issue. I hope it gets resolved. It’s so irritating. I literally lose a whole day of work sometimes.
Yes! This is the only issue I’m having while playing on the iPad. I like it better than my modded PC version. I love the game and want to play 😭

I have the same issue. I have been reporting it since 1.6.12 in the thread “1.6.14 still happening…” if you want to see the history or add any details there. I don’t know how or where to upload the save files, do you?

Hey! I just wanted to let you all know that the dev team has seen this thread & is aware of the issue.

We'd really like to fix it. It seems to be iPad specific, so we'll likely need a test device to try things out, and it'll likely take us a while to diagnose the problem. We appreciate your patience so far, and hope that we can get this resolved.

A question, if any of you know: was this also an issue in the previous major update (1.5)?

Thanks for replying! It was not an issue in 1.5 for me, and I played extensively. I’m happy to help test - I haven’t been able to replicate it intentionally, though.
