Switch Stardew 1.6 Switch Ginger Island West giving ocean fish

I recently started up an old save (1.5 something) to play for 1.6, and when I returned to ginger island, the river by the farmhouse and the pond by Birdie/ginger island west is giving me only ocean fish (flounder, super cucumber, Lionfish, etc) it seems that the river by the dig site is working normally, catching blue discus there, but the one by the farmhouse is not working as intended. It doesn’t seem to be the case for my PC at least, just the Switch.

What do you mean not working as intended? You can catch ocean fish on ginger island, there are only 3 ginger island specfic fish

At least the pond is not supposed to give ocean fish, so if that's happening that's not intended.

It's been a bug since the release of 1.6, and the latest update didn't fix it unfortunately. Have to catch discus by the dig site for now.
