Spouse Jealousy during Qi's Kindness?

I'm just wondering, can gifts given during Qi's Kindness cause a spouse to be jealous?

I googled for it and only came up with one reddit post, which didn't give a specific yes or no. So I came to the forum for more. I don't know much about the game codes, so I'm hoping for some help.

As for me, I have completed Qi's Kindness for about 10 times, but I never noticed that my spouse was jealous. The wiki says that the chance of spouse jealousy is 20%~40%, so, either I'm extremely lucky, or jealousy won't happen during this quest?:krobus:

Edit after #7: I forgot to mention, yes, I gave bouquets to every marriage candidate because I want to be at 10 hearts with every NPC. And since I'm already at 10 hearts with everyone, I will only give them gifts during Qi's Kindness. I'm married to Penny. And for Qi's Kindness, I always give coconuts to Haley and strawberries to Maru. I think I have met all the conditions for spouse jealousy to occur, however, it has never happened to me. So, my guess is, maybe the gifts given during Qi's Kindness is regarded as delivery quests, which do not count as gifts?

Doing that mission 10 times I would say you're our head researcher. Did you give bouquets to multiple people in your dating days?

It is possible to get jealous dialog from your spouse, after giving a gift to another marriage candidate, if the candidate is the same gender as your spouse, and if you are already at 8 hearts with that candidate. However, this has never occurred for me during the kindness quest.

Yes, I forgot to mention that I'm at 10 hearts with every NPC. Thus, I will only give them gifts during Qi's Kindness. Other than that, I meet all the conditions for spouse jealousy to occur, however, it has never happened to me. Only one gift is safe to give: birthday gifts. Remember, delivery missions are not included as rewards. If they're feeling jealous, When you talk to your next partner, they'll send an angry message that includes your gift.

However, there is another interesting situation. If you give a gift that you don't like to another marriage candidate, even though you are already married, there is a possibility that your partner will feel jealous. This only happens if the villager who received the gift has received a bouquet from you and is of the same gender as your partner.
