Spouse dialogue?

I’m trying to find a specific piece of spouse dialogue. I’m married to Shane and he placed a piece of furniture in my house and I was kinda scrolling quickly not expecting anything really but I think he said something to the affect of “what do you think, Peach?” And I found it really cute but I can’t find any info about the dialogue when spouses place furniture. Can anyone else confirm that?

I think there's a few pet nouns that can be chosen for that at random. I recall seeing roughly the same dialogue a few times but with "honey" or "sugar" instead of "peach" - not sure if it might be variations between genders, but I suspect it might be globally applied. None of the spouses normally use those terms on the regular that I've seen otherwise. So it might be that these furniture placement dialogues were written very early and then never updated/tailored more specifically to different spouse options.

Actually, I do not think the pet pronouns are random. I believe they are hard-coded as dialogue from each NPC when they are your spouse.

Also, after looking through the wiki, I could not find a quote that included "think" that also seemed at all like the question you gave, so I'm stumped.

I know I've seen people mention before that the spouse gave them furniture, but the wiki only mentions wallpaper and flooring.

I think that particular dialogue is missing from the wiki for all spouses.

I mean, I can't discount that this is a possibility - my sample size isn't exactly large or well researched, so much as vague inklings of memories over 1000+ hours of play. But I'm pretty sure the pet pronouns are quite rare and after reading OP's post, realised I couldn't recall too many situations where I encountered it -outside- of these new furniture/wallpaper/flooring situations. Probably not likely to know or learn much without someone who can brute force the event to see - perhaps someone like @BlaDe

There are spouse dialogues that have a small (8%) chance to refer to you as one of the following "Term of Spousal Endearment" if you have 9 or more hearts with your spouse:

"Pookie"
"Love"
"Hot Stuff"
"Cuddlebug"
"Hunky" - If farmer is male
"Peach" - If farmer is female
"Cutie"
"Ducky"
"Handsome" - If farmer is male
"Darling" - If famer is female

If you don't hit the 8% chance you get:
"Honey"
"Dear"
"Sweetie"
"Hun"
"Sweetheart"

If you have less than 9 hearts you get the farmer's name.

Some of the relevant dialogues are: ({0} gets replaced with the term of endearment)
