[Spoilers] Island jungle weeds path hints, please

Thanks for pointing that out, I totally would never have noticed otherwise!
Anyways, you can absolutely get into that path, and in fact you probably have already - it's not obvious where you are, because the camera stops panning when you reach the edge of an area. But you can use your fishing rod, and the area where the fishing rod animation shows up will tell you where you are. Just keep trying to move and using the fishing rod to check, you should be able to reach the end of that path.
It's also not immediately obvious what to do at the end (or at least it wasn't for me), I've placed the answer in a spoiler below in case you want to find it yourself.

Right-click without holding any tool. You should hear a bush being shaken and then get a golden walnut. If it doesn't work maybe move around a little and try to face different directions?
