Spoilers in this thread so stop reading if you want to discover everything on your own! It’s almost time for the Stardew Valley Fair and there is one question on the mind of every new farmer. What to do with Mayor Lewis’s purple shorts? Return them discretely? Parade around town in them? Put them in the grange display? What do you usually chose?

I usually just return them like a wimp, but I REALLY want to do something else with them, like Tailoring them with a gold bar because the other things have consequences I care about, like star points and friendship.

I also return them and "hack" the gold trim ones in. VIA item code/animal. I wonder what happens to the quest if you trim his pair instead of returning. My next file I plan on friending Marny right away to get his shorts into the grange display :)
